Yesterday I went to Gozo for a few hours in the afternoon. Left home at around 4pm, got the 4.30pm ferry and arrived at Gozo at around 5pm. We only stayed there for a couple of hours, since we got the 8.45pm ferry back to Malta. Very short trip but worth it
According to the National Statistics Office, the Maltese population at the end of 2004 was 402, 668; just over 400, 000, and of these 50.4% are women.
The statistics were published as a commemoration of World Population Day on the 11th July.
