We had planned not to go on holiday before the wedding early next year, so these two trips came unexpectedly! I’m so happy though…I enjoy travelling and the fact that I’ll be visiting new places which I’ve never been to before is great 
The first trip is partly work-related. A two day seminar directly related to my work is being organised in Berlin, so I will be attending with another colleague at work. Since the two day seminar will be held on a Monday and Tuesday, we decided to extend our stay, and will be going to Berlin from Friday, and will be spending there a total of 6 days. I have never been to Germany before, and I’m really looking forward to visit.
The second trip is a short holiday, the last one before we get married. This was totally unexpected, as we decided and booked everything in 2 days. We are going to Venice, and since we will be staying for 5 days, we will also be organising day trips to visit other places, including Gardaland Theme Park, Lago di Garda, Padova and Verona. I’m so looking forward to this short holiday together - we really neeed a break and this will be the first time in nearly a year since we are taking a short break, so we’re really looking forward to get away from everyday routine.
So I’m really looking forward to September, when it will be holiday time. The first trip to Berlin is planned for the end of August/beginning September, and then at the end of September we’ll be going to Venice Sometimes good things come when you simply don’t expect them!
