At last I had some time to relax this weekend! I had a very busy week at work, staying at work longer hours most days, so I was glad on Friday when I left work on time, early in the afternoon :)

After two months at work, I have realised what a difference there is between university life and working life! Although I’ve worked before, it was only temporary, until I started uni again. However, this time, I won’t be going to university as a student again next October. So I have to look at this job as a long term thing.

I must say that at times, after a long day at work, when I can barely stay awake at 8pm, I really miss life as a student! I miss spending time online, reading books and watching movies, as well as going out during the day, without having any work-related commitments.  I could also go abroad whenever I wanted, without having to plan leave and holidays. I also enjoyed having different schedules during different days of the week - starting lectures late, finishing lectures early and having days off! :) What I don’t miss, however, are exams and assignments!

Maybe one day I can go back to uni as a student, maybe doing a masters degree. Maybe..one day..but probably not this year…

    Hi

    How are you today?

I guess it’s swings and roundabouts, fors and againsts.
I remember when I first joined the working world the days seemed so long and what should have been the summer holiday seemed to last forever! But I loved the fact I was getting paid for my time!
