Waiting for..the stationery!
posted by kry in workYes..you’ve read correctly..I’m still waiting for my stationery order at the office!!
The order for stationery (since the office is still being set up) was placed during the first week I started working there, which is over a month now. And I still haven’t had the order delivered!
It’s not the supplier’s fault, it’s just the bureaucratic procedure which takes long! Last Friday I was advised by the supplier (after calling them..again) that they have received the order, and will be delivering it tomorrow (hopefully!). So after over a month of having to get biros, post-it notes and other required stationery from other departments (yes..the situation was that bad..), tomorrow I am supposed to get the stationery delivered..at last

That’s red tape for you! Do you have to wait for that too!! (What a sad sense of humour I have!)
Yeah there’s a lot of bureaucracy where I work unfortunately!
