Settling down at work…
posted by kry in workI’ve been at work well over a month now, and I feel I’ve settled down. Still have to do more work to properly set up the office, including loads of filing still to be done (unfortunately!). Tomorrow two new people will join us at the Office. I hope we’ll get on well!
Next week I also have an induction course. This is organised for new people who join the organisation, in order to give them an overview of how it works, the various departments and also the many procedures (most of which are really bureaucratic!). It is going to be held for a week, during office hours, so work which accumulates during the day has to be done later (after office hours probably!), so it’s going to be a long week.

how r u? how was your weekend?
The new people were ok, although obviously we still have to get to know each other. I hope we’ll get on well.. I felt a bit awkward at first since I had gotten used to being by myself. Now I have to be a secretary to 3 people, instead of 1!
