Yesterday it was National Cinema Day here in Malta, so we decided to head off to the nearest cinema, since it had been a very long time since we last watched a movie at the cinema. We usually watch movies at home, although there was a time when we used to go to the cinema every weekend!
So yesterday we decided to go to the cinema, and watched Kung Fu Panda, which is a Dreamworks movie. I must say I really enjoyed it - I always enjoy watching animated movies. It is rated 8.1 in IMDB, which is really good. Amongst others, it includes the voices of Jackie Chan and Angelina Jolie.
Here’s a brief synopsis:
It’s the story of Po, a panda, who is a big fan of Kung Fu. However he cannot fulfill his dream of becoming a Kung Fu fighter since he has to work in the family business - a noodle shop. He gets chosen unexpectedly to fulfill a prophecy - that of protecting the valley from the enemy. Although it proves to be difficult at first, he soon proves everyone wrong - by turning his greatest weaknesses into his greatest strengths.
