This morning, whilst reading the news, I came across this article, about how new ways of monitoring migration should be established as a priority. This area is one of the issues which I am currently researching, as part of one of my credits at uni, which is related to the changing European demography. Migration is affecting everyone, and it’s not only a phenomenon in Europe, but Europe is feeling the pressures of it. Although some areas gain from migration, others suffer. This is why migration policy is a highly debatable and controversial issue, and there are endless examples and issues to discuss with regards to this changing trend.
