After I finished my exams a couple of weeks ago, I started packing things in boxes, to prepare for our move, which will take place in a couple of months’ time. I decided to start from the study room, since that is the room where I’ve got most things which I won’t be using in the next couple of months.
I’ve got so many books, that it took me 3 days to pack them in boxes; although it took me this long because I created a list with details of all the books, so obviously the process took me longer.
I also put lecture notes and other material which I have collected throughout my academic years in boxes, and labeled them, since I will probably leave them stored in boxes, considering that I will probably not use them again.
Since we have to wait until the movers take the furniture to the other house, I have to keep the books stored in boxes for some months, so I made sure that they are properly stored so as to avoid any damage. I did some research on the internet and found a couple of good articles about how to store books, which I had posted about some time ago.

3 days is lot of packing days! But sounds like you have been very organised, and will appreciate the process at the other side.
