Whilst reading UK news websites I frequently come across articles about Home Information Pack (HIPs). These Home Information Packs should be prepared by homeowners who are trying to sell their property for prospective buyers. HIPs are packs of essential details and information about a building prepared by the seller. I did some research to know more about them, and I found out that usually these contain the terms of sale, evidence of title, a property information form, a fixtures and fittings form, planning consents and replies to standard searches. They also contain an energy performance certificate (EPC), which will give details of the property’s size, its average energy use per square metre, its carbon dioxide emissions, and an estimate of how much it costs to provide heat, light and water for the property. Although such a pack is good for prospective buyers, homeowners now have additional costs, since to put together such a pack it obviously involves money.

On the same topic of property, this morning I came across a website about real estate software. Basically this software is an online property management software provider for landlords, property managers and homeowner associations. This can be used completely online, and one can easily manage rentals and budgeting, amongst many other options.
