Last time in class we were discussing the issue of health services, and how in certain countries there are people who cannot afford to pay for their health services needs. The subject evolved and we ended up discussing the fact that some health services are so expensive, that it would be near to impossible for some to pay for them, even if they desperately need them. Where governments do not offer free health services, at no cost to patients, it would be essential to have a health insurance plan for all the family, such as this Illinois family health insurance plan. What I liked about this particular health insurance provider is that they offer useful tools to make the health insurance industry easier to understand. They have selected topics which people might require clarification on, and created guidelines, such as Health Insurance Basics and Types of Health Plan Categories.
In Malta we are lucky that the government covers every citizen in whatever health services we might need. However private health insurance policies are also popular, with some workplaces, especially large companies, offering a health insurance policy plan for their employees and their families.
