Back in secondary school, I used to be very good in languages – languages where my favourite subjects, especially Italian, and I always did very well in exams where languages were concerned. Some days I wonder how come I never took this ‘passion’ for languages any further. I attended various courses after secondary school, mainly in computing and business management, but I never took any courses in languages, which is a shame really seeing that I was good at learning languages and I enjoyed learning them. Maybe one day I will have the opportunity to take a Spanish language course or a course to learn German.

Nowadays there are so many language course providers on the internet, that it’s so easy to learn a language online. There are also courses which are aimed at executives and professionals with basic, intermediate or advanced level business language skills, such as the courses organised by ELT, which is a training institute specialising in English and other foreign languages courses. It provides courses, including customized foreign language training in over 50 languages! Each foreign language course is designed to meet the participant’s needs, incorporating the vocabulary specific to his or her job-specific communication goals. Some courses in fact are catered in a way so as to help participants improve their language competency and succeed in today’s workplace.

This expresses exactely what I often thought about myself. :-) I really liked languages but only did “standard” German and English. Your post motivates me to do some more in future. Thanks…

I hope I will find time and I will have the opportunity in the near future to learn another language as well:) Maybe by writing it down it has helped me realise that I need to do it :)
