Performance Audit – Quality of life for the elderly at St Vincent de Paule Residence
posted by kry in public policy & policy making, universityAs part of tomorrow’s exam, Policy Analysis and Evaluation, we have to analyse in detail a report, which has been sent to us this morning. So today was spent analysing the report and doing some research about it, as well as coming up with recommendations.
The report which we have to analyse is the Performance Audit – Quality of life for the elderly at St Vincent de Paule Residence.
This audit which was undertaken during the period November 2003 to November 2004 and published in May 2005, sought to assess the equity and transparency of the admissions process to the Residence, and whether the residents enjoyed an adequate quality of life through the provision of holistic care. Three surveys were carried out concurrently during the period 26 January - 14 February 2004 to support the drafting of the audit.
It was interesting to analyse this report, especially since the topic is related to one of the assignments which I have worked on recently - The Pensions Reform. However, it would have been much better if I had more time to do some further research about it!
I’m off to study some more for tomorrow’s exam!
