After long months of preparation and information campaigns, in 11 hours’ time Malta will adopt the Euro as its currency.
I have collected all the money (not much really!) I have in LM in a bag, and I shall be using it as soon as possible, so that then I can start using the Euro. I have already bought a Euro starter kit last week. I decided to keep some LM coins as well as one of each of the new Euro coins. At first I was going to keep the LM notes as well but in the end I decided against it - I will only keep pictures of them.
