Reflections through Cyberspace

So today is the last day of the year..another year is gone already! Time is going by so fast!

As with every year, this year for me had the highs and lows. From January to June I was quite panicked since I had my finals in June and I was busy with assignments and presentations as well. I managed to get my degree with good grades last June. Then I found a full time job immediately after I finished my finals and I started working as a Business Relations Officer where my duties involved coordinating a local advertising magazine. At this time, I realised how different life is from being a student to a full time worker! During Summer I decided to quit my job to continue studying for another year to get an Hons Degree in Public Policy. After quitting my job at the end of August, I found another temporary job working as data inputting clerk at the Ministry of Education in Floriana. This was only a one month temporary job, which kept me busy for the month of September. In October I was back at university, where I started the Hons course in Public Policy. With regards to travelling, I managed a one day trip to Sicily last September. This year unfortunately I also lost two loved ones from our family, who are dearly missed by all.

Now I am looking forward for the new year, which should bring with it new challenges. I should finish my course at University in June and if I pass I should be graduating in December.

This year will probably also see the realisation of a long time plan which will probably change my life. This challenge, although it has been talked about for a long time, is still in its early stages of planning but should be taking shape after finishing my finals next Summer. If it is realised, it will bring about a lot of new things into my life and a complete change of lifestyle.
