If you are planning to go abroad on holiday, then you might want to do some research about what the place has to offer and which are the main attractions and the places you would like to visit, before you go. Travel guides are a useful tool which serve the purpose.
Recently I came across a site which has well over 500 travel guides. I had a look at the London travel guide to see what the site has to offer. In the main page of the city guide, there is a lengthy overview of the city and places of interest and landmarks which are worth a visit. The guide has information about the city and its attractions, information about hotels and also a weather forecast section. There is also a section where you can search for accommodation and book your stay. There is also a links section for cheap hotels in London.
If possible, it would be better to find a travel guide where people who have already visited the place have left comments about their visit. In this way, you can get to know the pros and cons of the place as well as where to visit and where not to visit, through the experience of other people who have already been there.
