Here’s a great idea I heard about last October through a blog I read everyday. In Greenwich they are organising a Live advent calendar.

Between the 1st and 24th December, 24 of the good parishioners of St Alfege’s Church will be taking it in turns to open their curtains, revealing a festive surprise tableau to create a ‘live’ advent calendar. As each day arrives one more will be added to the number until there is a complete ‘trail’ of beautifully decorated scenes throughout Greenwich.

So yesterday, being the 1st day of December, the first window was inaugurated.

I think this is an interesting idea, which will help create a nicer Christmas atmosphere in Greenwich :)
