Fine Art Galleries and Art Auctions
posted by kry in PPPHave you ever been to an art auction? I have never been to one. This morning I came across this site of a fine art gallery, established in 1969 which conducts art auctions in the US and Canada. Their affiliate company, Park West at Sea also conducts cruise ship art auctions around the world. This particular building, which is 63,000 square foot and is of classical Greco-Roman design, is built in a similar way to many museums built in North America in the 20th century. Several times each year they organise extensive gallery exhibitions of works by recognized masters and contemporary artists. I think it would be interesting to attend an art auction, especially for people who appreciate art and paintings.
