I believe that in today’s hectic lifestyle – with all the commitments we have – it’s really nice to be romantic once in a while. It helps keep the relationship alive and afterwards you look back and remember such moments with fondness. Even though I’m not very romantic I love to be spoiled and I just love surprises :) I also must admit that I love reading Romance Novels and watching romantic movies :)
I’ve been with my boyfriend for over six years now! Sometimes I can’t believe how time flies – although I feel as if we’ve been together since forever. After some time, you feel part of each other’s lives and I can’t imagine my life without him being part of it and at times I can’t even remember how it was before we met! The first romantic surprise I remember goes way back in December 2003, when he surprised me with a holiday to the UK. This was the first time we’d been abroad together. It was so special to me – even the way he told me about it was very special :) He prepared everything behind my back and I didn’t even realize – he was very good in planning it all :)
I must admit that even though I’m not a very romantic person myself – I would like to be able to surprise him once in a while as well. My only problem is that I’m not very good at keeping surprises. He manages to find out beforehand what’s going on – even Christmas presents – he usually guesses what I bought him before even opening it! I should try harder!
