Camden Council are organising a swapshop, which is an event where they are inviting people from the area to exchange their unwanted items for things they really need. This event, known as “Give and Take”, is being organised as a way to reduce waste.

“Give and Take” is a chance to get rid of things you don’t want and pick up something you do. Give and Take is an opportunity to reuse things instead of throwing them away; this saves on landfill space and valuable resources. It also offers you the chance to pick up household items you may need.

I believe it’s a very interesting concept. I wonder whether they do it locally here in Malta as well.
