One of the topics we have covered in Government and Administration is political parties. During lectures we had mentioned the case of Jersey as an example, where no official political parties exist. So while studying I did some research about these systems. I came across a lot of interesting information, such as the fact that both Jersey and the Isle of Man are British crown dependencies, although not exactly part of the UK or EU. It was interesting to compare such political systems with the one in Malta, where political parties play an important role in our society.
