As soon as I got up, the first thing I did was look out of the window - I took a breath of relief as soon as I looked outside - the weather was perfect :)

We took the boat to Comino at 10am and got there by 10.30am. The sea was calm and the views from the front of the boat were beautiful - it was a taste of what we were going to experience as soon as we got there.

We explored Comino from a different perspective. Although many people go there to swim in the crystal clear sea, we walked around the island to explore the landscape and the magnificent views.

Every step you make on this small island, you are assured to discover something new and interesting - be it the rocky landscape, the flora, fauna and the beautiful hidden caves.

This island gave me a sense of freedom - I felt as if I was in control of my life and everything around me. It surely is the perfect place to reflect and sort out one’s thoughts as well as relax and leave behind the hectic lifestyle back home - only 30 minutes away by boat. 3 words describe this island - ‘the perfect hideaway’.

A combination of great friends, beautiful weather, the quiet atmosphere and pictoresque views have made my day in Comino a very special one which I shall keep in my memory for a long time.

Bikkejtni:((( I was already homesick and these pictures really made me cry. In case you didn’t guess - it’s yet another grey, godawful day in this shithole known as England.

I’m going to sit in a corner and make my jealousy go away:)

This week we’ve been having bad weather here as well:( It’s really windy and cloudy:( Just like the UK + wind - which makes it much worse! We were lucky to have perfect weather last Saturday. Had we planned it for this week it would have had to be cancelled.

God! I couldn’t agree more with Athena….I’m very jealous too (also in the UK).

    Great pics Krystle…..

    thanks:)

I will upload more pics on Flickr next week as I’ve approached the limit for uploading for this month so I’ll have to wait until Monday to upload more.
