The day has come - in a few hours’ time (12.5 hours to be exact) I’ll be on board a plane which will take me to London 
Looking forward to see Carlo again as I haven’t seen him in 10 weeks (70 days)!
I’ll be there for 10 days - that is 10 days of not thinking about assignments, presentations and lectures!! yippeee 
Tomorrow it’s going to be a long day. First of all I have to spend 5 hours on the plane! The flight they found me (since I had to change the flight from April to March - long story!!) is one which has a stop at Catania. Therefore it will take me from 8.25 am (local time) till 12.15 (UK time) to get there.
From Gatwick airport I have to take a train to get to London Bridge, where I should meet Carlo. This is my first time that I am taking a train on my own so I am already panicking about that - I’m afraid that I’ll end up going to the wrong platform or taking the wrong train! lol He has been patiently explaining to me step-by-step what I should do from the moment I get off the plane till the moment I take the train all week:)
When I get there (as I’m hoping I will), we will then travel together to Greenwich. This afternoon he told me something which really made me laugh:) He said that he was excited about this thing - he said that it is the same as when in Malta, when we are about to meet someone at Valletta, we say “niltaqghu fejn tal-cassettes” lol …..with the difference that I have to get a plane, stop at Catania, from there to London Gatwick and then take a train to London Bridge - not quite the same as getting a bus and be at Valletta in around 20 minutes!!!
I am off to watch some tv before sleeping - I am making sure that I sleep early today as I have to get up at around 5am!
