After having a conversation with Arcibald through the comments in my previous post, I decided to send them an email asking them the reason for printing the full credit card details on the flight tickets and whether it is only done when booking online or for all payments done by credit card. I hadn’t done this yet because I thought that they wouldn’t really take notice of my email. However, in the end I decided to contact them as there is nothing to lose anyway. I sent the email around 12.00 but I got no reply as yet. Will update again if I receive a reply from them.

You’re freaking me out! I just bought an e-ticket from the Air Malta website this morning. Still, so far no red flags. I’ll let you know as soon as I see one.

Toni although the flight was booked online through their website, I had collected the printed ticket from one of their offices. Today I got a reply from them and they said that it shouldn’t have been printed. To be honest, I had thought that it was a normal procedure that the details are printed and that was why I hadn’t contacted them before.
