After the New Year, those who enjoy shopping cannot wait for the January sales. I must admit that even though I enjoy shopping, I am not one to queue outside shops.

Last Monday, as usual, I was working, and when I got to Sliema at 8.15 in the morning I was greeted with a long queue of people outside the shops. Then again yesterday, the same thing happened outside shops who started their sale a day later.
This reminds me of when I was in London in January 2004. That time I really enjoyed shopping and I got some great bargains.
I was reading on Skynews that in the UK, people are set to spend £5.5 bn in the sales. Read article here
