Christmas was spent as usual this year. Started the day (or night) with midnight mass at Selmun chapel in Mellieha. I couldn’t sleep before 3am but still managed to get up quite early.
Went to grandparent’s house later in the morning for Christmas lunch. This is a tradition which has been going on for years. All the family meets up for lunch at their house and it is the only time where we are all together (apart from other special occassions which might come up during the year, which are quite rare). In 21 years I have only missed it once - last year.
After that we went back to my bf’s house to spend the rest of the day with his family. In the evening, back home, it was time to open presents:) There was a film on tv which I really wanted to see again - Miracle on 34th Street but I was so tired, considering I had been working all day the day before and I hadn’t slept before 3am that night, that I ended up sleeping by 9pm!
Had fun all day experimenting with my new digital video camera which I had bought last month:)
Overall it was a nice, relaxed Christmas
