I was reading an article in a magazine about the benefits of walking. It said that every 20 steps burns off around 1 cal. Then there was a list of how many steps it takes to burn off food.
Below are some of the foods listed:
1 jelly baby - 20 steps
1 bag of crisps - 2600 steps
jam doughnut - 4560 steps
small plate of chips - 4460 steps
scoop of ice cream - 3200 steps
bowl of cornflakes with milk - 3800 steps
bar of chocolate - 4000 steps
I’d better not think of this article and how much I need to walk to burn off the food I am going to eat:)
