Preparing to move to Ghadira…
posted by kry in generalFinally I’m back home after a long day out.
In summer we move to Ghadira as we’ve got a flat there and we’re going up next weekend, so this morning we left home early to go and clean the flat and take some things with us. Some things means a lot of things - I only took my things today but the car was just packed..and I still haven’t taken everything:) Got there by 8.30am and spent most of the morning putting things in order. Then this evening I was working from 5 - 10pm.
The only problem I’ve got with moving is the internet connection. To transfer the internet from normal residence to summer residence you have to wait a week!! Last year I ended up with no internet connection for 2 days since at first when I phoned they said that they would give it to me after 3 days and in the end I only got it after 5 days and after a lot of complaining! So this year I applied a week before to be sure to have it there by next Saturday. Let’s see how long I will have to wait. I don’t know why it takes a week just to change a telephone number!

Just one week to have your ADSL connection transferred to another number? Consider yourself lucky.
A friend of mine usually has to wait for 3 weeks.
3 weeks?! And I thought a week was too much to wait just to change a telephone number! Well then now I know I am not the only one to have problems when transferring my connection each Summer..it is a real hassle! Let’s see this year if I get it in time..which I’m really doubting!
